Meet Our Fiduciaries

Carolyn M. Young Owner, Certified Fiduciary 

Carolyn M. Young has committed her life to taking care of others. She started her
business in 1986 to fill a need in the community by offering assistance with trusts,
conservatorships and much more.
 

Carolyn not only makes certain that her clients are cared for financially but
physically, emotionally and mentally as well. She looks for ideal living conditions
and arranges physicians to provide quality health care. She works around the

needs of the client to maintain a high quality of life while making certain that

financial assets are available throughout a person’s life. Essentially, she treats

all of her clients as if they are a member of her family.  It is a philosophy she

started with her first client more than twenty years ago – to treat every case with

conviction, determination and compassion.
 

These values were ingrained in her during her 17 years working for Sacramento

County with five years at the County Public Guardian’s office. Carolyn is a graduate

of Sacramento State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in social

science/sociology. She also completed post-graduate courses in accounting, business

management, conservatorships, fiduciary studies and taxes.
 

Carolyn is a licensed professional fiduciary and charter member of the Professional

Fiduciary Association of California (PFAC). Carolyn spends her spare time with her family –

her husband, three grown children and four grandchildren.

Lindsay Bowman, Certified Fiduciary

For the past 14 years, Lindsay Bowman has played a pivotal role with CMY

Fiduciary Services.Not only has she assisted hundreds of clients, Lindsay is

quickly one of the region's experts

in conservatorships. 

​

Lindsay passionately advocates for her clients, ensuring their needs are met.
Her dedication goes beyond maintaining conservatorships and providing fiduciary
services. Lindsay’s known for going the extra mile, whether it is attending doctor’s

appointment, stopping by for a home visit, or moving a client into an assisted living facility. 
 

Prior to joining her mother at CMY Fiduciary Services, Lindsay worked in public relations

and in financial recruiting. However, the family business, where she first started working as

a teenager answering phones and doing filing, keeps calling her back. Lindsay is a graduate

of the University of Arizona where she earned her bachelor’s degree in business and

communications. She also completed post-graduate courses in accounting, business management,

conservatorships and fiduciary studies. 
 

Lindsay is also an active member in the Professional Fiduciary Association of California, Junior

League and the Sacramento Chapter of the Delta Gamma Sorority Alumni Group. She is also an

advocate for diabetes after her young son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. In her spare time,

Lindsay can be found reading, running, cheering for the Wildcats and spending time with her three

children.

Zach Young, Certified Fiduciary 
For the past 10 years, Zach Young has been an integral parts of CMY 

Fiduciary Services. Zach brings energy to his work and his clients. 

He ensures their needs are met by going above and beyond the call of duty. 

Prior to joining his mother at CMY Fiduciary Services, Zach
worked in state government as an analyst for the Department of Food
and Agriculture and as an assistant in the Governor’s Office. However,
the family business called him back, where he first started working as a
teenager doing basic office work and filing.
 

Zach is a graduate of California State University at Sacramento and a member of

the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. At Sacramento State, Zach earned his bachelor’s

degree in business and communications. In his spare time, Zach can be found rooting

for the Kings and Giants, playing golf and showing off his culinary talents.
